Heavy Rain & Smoke

If there is an unsafe amount of rain resulting in flood warnings or thunderstorm warnings class will be cancelled. If rainfall is lighter, full days should be expected.

Our wildfire smoke policy is that we will run programs whenever the air quality is below 100pm, 2.5 (yellow or moderate air quality on www.airnow.gov). When particulates are above 100pm 2.5 (orange or "unhealthy for sensitive groups") we will seek to provide an alternative, safer location.

COVID19

After talking with medical professionals and adhering with CDC guidelines Earth Trek Forest School is facemask optional for students. Classes are in small groups, outside, and moving constantly, providing low risk of exposure. Snack time and lunch are spaced out in a large circle as we sit in one spot.

Should you or your student prefer to wear a facemask while in class we are happy to support them.

Earth Trek Forest School being mask optional is subject to change as we continue to be flexible to the situational needs for the health and safety of our community.
